@Jenise Fryatt,

So true... the changes are coming right beneath us and continuously. Gonna be fun to see where we land!

I have been on Twitter since March, so not that long either, but boy I caught the fire quickly.

I am ditching my fears to jump onto the Goole Wave bandwagon currently.

Thanks for contributing!

@Jeff Hurt,

good points.... a new business idea must take shape quickly and with unbridled support. You snooze and you lose!

Love the analogy of the overflowing glass sharing the wine of positive thinking!!!

Thanks Jeff, for the addition to the conversation.

Wise words here. Change is constant and most people are used to it. I think what's different this time is how rapidly and drastically it has presented itself. I think most people don't even realize what's happened. I sure didn't, until I got on Twitter a couple of months ago. It has been a tremendous learning tool for me and thanks to it and informative blogs like this, I feel much more prepared for what lies ahead. Social media can, and will, play a great role in bringing people along. And, yes, first we have to ditch our fear of failure and just jump in!

Michael:

Good stuff here (And thanks for quoting me.)

These are unique times indeed and the innovators who can turn on the dime, see opportunities within the disruptions, and take some calculated risks will be the winners indeed.

Like you, I'm a glass half full kind of guy. Actually, I believe in letting the glass get filled and continually run over so you can share with others. :)
