Well, my bags aren’t packed yet, but I am really excited about the upcoming Experient e4 Conference. The event occurs next week, August 2-5, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, in National Harbor, MD. (outside Washington DC)
This year as usual there is a terrific program planned! One exciting aspect of e4 2009 is the increased prominence of Social Media. Over the past several months Experient has devloped a strong web presence on several levels, including The official “E4 Blog,” Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and “My e4 Community,” sponsored by The Social Collective.
One innovative development is Experient’s decision to welcome all interested Event Industry professionals to its Live Webcast of the Wednesday (8/5) morning General Session, entitled ‘Technology and Meetings in the Future.’ This session, moderated by Stephen Nold, will feature the following panelists:
- Nicole Buraglio – Hanley Wood Exhibitions
- Mike Immerwahr – Microsoft
- RD Whitney – Tarsus Online Media
The discussion will be centered on the impact of future technology on the meetings industry.
Please register for your complimentary virtual access pass here:
Session Time: 9:00Am EDT – 10:15AM EDT
Special Note: Experient is encouraging the use of the Twitter hashtag #e4chat for the e4 Conference and there will be a live Twitter Stream throughout the weeks events.
So, please mark your calendars and don’t miss this terrific event! I look forward to seeing your tweets on hashtag “#e4chat” as well.
