I really have much to be thankful for!
I have two wonderful, healthy children, now both adults whom I love with all my heart. Today is Father’s Day, yes, and this day is supposed to be about acknowledging dads across the world. However, I look at things a little differently… Today is a day to celebrate family!
When I reflect back on my nearly 53 years of living, my greatest gift is to have a loving family. Unfortunately both my parents are deceased, but the gift they gave me, unconditional love, I extend towards my kids.
Here is a poem I wrote this morning to describe how I feel about them….. Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there!
